Privacy policy

This policy explains how Afterward (“we” or “us”) handles information collected through this website.

It does not cover the Afterward software that partner businesses use, or the programs members join. Those fall under each partner agreement and the privacy notice members receive for their program.

Only what you choose to send us, and what the servers that host this website record.

A walkthrough request

Your name, business name, business type, state and work email, and a phone number and message if you add them.

Server logs

Standard technical details of each visit, such as the network address it came from, the browser, the page asked for and the time.

The walkthrough form does not send anything by itself. It opens your email app with a message you can read and change first. We receive it only if you send it.

• Health information. Please don’t include any in a message to us.
• This website uses no advertising or analytics trackers.
• This website sets no cookies. It stores your light or dark theme in your browser if you choose one, and until you close the tab it records that the opening animation has played. Neither leaves your device.
• This website makes no requests to other websites. Its fonts, images and code are all served from this website.

• To reply to you and arrange a walkthrough.
• To talk with your business about becoming a partner, and to set up and run a partnership.
• To answer requests, such as a request for physician license numbers.
• To keep this website working and secure.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

• Companies that host this website and run our email, only so they can provide those services.
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, when they need it to advise us.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
• A buyer or successor, if Afterward’s business is sold or reorganized. They must follow this policy.

We keep a business inquiry for as long as we need it to respond and for our business records, and then delete it.

Server logs are kept for a limited period to keep the website secure, and then deleted.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to us at hello@keelmd.com.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state privacy law. We will respond as that law requires, and asking will never count against you.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive. No system is perfectly secure, and email is not a private channel, so please leave health information out of any message to us.

This website is for businesses. If you joined a program through a gym, med spa, clinic or dietitian, the health information you share in that program is not collected through this website.

It is handled in the program itself, is subject to HIPAA where it applies, and is described in the privacy notice you receive for your program. For questions about it, ask the business that offered the program, or write to us.

This website is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
